The demonstrations illustrated on the web site are samples of images, navigation bars, animations, and movies selected from various sections of the structures E-Book. The demonstrations are only a small portion of the E-book and are intended to give a sense of the format, graphics, and capabilities of the software. Main menu

At the bottom of each page, a series of icons serve as the main navigation bar that operates the program. From left to right, the main navigation bar includes icons for Back, Main Menu, Formula, Example, Architects, Concepts, Systems, Audio Rewind, Volume, Audio Play, and Forward.

Beam stress animation

Most of the instructional material is contained in one of the three modules - Architects, Concepts, and Systems. Each module is divided into eight sections. The image shown above is an animation from the beams section of the Systems module that visually demonstrates the behavior of a simply supported beam subjected to a uniformly distributed load. The images to the right are animations from the columns section of the Systems module that demonstrate buckling. Click on the images to run the animations.
